Reviews from our Cottage Guests

"We loved this charming 1940s cottage in Port Townsend."

"Great location, comfortable house, amazing landlords, and even nice neighbors!"

"A perfect getaway spot."

What a wonderful place! I've been to Port Townsend many times and always love the town but this was the perfect location to enjoy it. It's on a lovely street and just a five-minute walk to everything - downtown, movie theaters, restaurants, local market. At one point, I realized it had been 10 days since I'd been in the car because everything I needed was right there. I enjoyed having coffee in the morning at the table by the window while looking out at the water. The cottage had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful, but not intrusive, and very responsive to questions and requests. I would definitely go back to Aunt Clara's Cottage!

The cottage is a charming property with beautiful views of the Bay and ferries; a gorgeous English Garden that surrounds the house and fills the back yard; a comfortable living room/dining area with WAVE TV & fast internet. It is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood of Victorian homes and yet walking distance to downtown and uptown areas. The owners of the property, Judith and Robert, are really nice, friendly, helpful but also respect the privacy of their guests. We really appreciated them. We also fell in love with Port Townsend. There is so much to do, great bookstores, art, music and events. We also visited the Olympic National Park and Neah Bay and Victoria. It's a great base for travel around the area by ferry or car. We highly recommend Aunt Clara's cottage and hope to return for future visits.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Aunt Clara's Cottage. It's a perfect location to walk to the Wooden Boat Festival, downtown restaurants, and even the Uptown Farmer's Market. Judith and Robert were wonderful hosts--very helpful, but never intrusive. The only negative that I can think of is that I didn't have time to stay another month.

Cottage was clean & very well equipped for a longer stay. Hosts very helpful. We are going back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Aunt Clara's cottage. The location could not be better with the town The landlords are there to help but no problem....very friendly Will definitely come back!!! Love it!!!!

We enjoyed our stay in this well cared for, comfortable cottage, located in a beautiful garden. Their outside dining areas were greatly appreciated. We found Port Townsend to be a great walking town, with many small cafes within easy reach. There are many activities in Port Townsend during July; we took advantage of many of them. Judith and Robert were knowledgeable, helpful hosts, and we high recommend this accommodation. (July 2015, Guests from Canada)

Wow, this cottage was ideal for a month in Port Townsend! Private, quiet, cozy and very comfortable, yet right in the heart of Uptown. A quick walk to anything you need: groceries, sushi, coffee, fine dining, yoga, farmer's market, art-house films -- all that PT has to offer. Can't wait to return and live the PT dream all over again. Thank you Judith and Robert!

We spent a month at Aunt Clara's Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage is just right for two. It is cozy with comfortable furniture for lounging and a good bed for restful sleeping. We cooked a fair bit and found the kitchen small but well outfitted with pots, pans and utensils. Owners Judith and Robert were wonderful. We felt like we were meeting old friends. They provided lots of information about points of interests, restaurants, and current events as well as keeping us in fresh linens and attending to whatever needs we had. The cottage is in a perfect location for walking to everything in uptown and downtown, and having tea each morning in the living room, watching the ferries and other boats come and go, was a highlight of each day. We would definitely like to return.

Adorable 1-bedroom, full-kitchen cottage with a beautiful ocean view and garden.

Thank you for making my birthday so memorable. You have been so kind in sharing your dinners and friends. The cottage is wonderful but your friendship is even better.

A Great Location!!! I really enjoyed my month in Port Townsend. My cozy little house was in a perfect location to walk nearly everywhere in town. Loved the view.

Judith and Bob were great hosts. Their space was perfect for our week's long stay. Everything was provided for a comfortable stay, including a lovely garden with a quiet space for a relaxing evening. The cottage is in a great location, which includes a great view. We took walks and enjoyed the deer that walk freely and were impressed with the historic homes. The
Downton is filled with unique shops and fine dining. The cottage was quiet, private, and perfect for our stay.

Judith is a wonderful host and this charming cottage is in the heart of historic Port Townsend.. Everything you need is within walking distance and the view from the front window is spectacular.
